Garlic Butter Shrimp

Updated: Apr 3, 2023

This is one of the easiest and most delicious shrimp recipes. A little spice, creamy, and of course a whole lot of shrimp!

Ingredients

  • 1 stick of butter

  • 3/4 bag of shrimp (About 20-25 shrimp depending on your preference, peeled and cut in half)

  • 1 tsp Oregano

  • Red Chili Flakes (add based on how much heat you want)

  • Salt and Pepper for taste, as much as you prefer

  • 1 box of linguine

  • Small bag of spinach

  • Garlic (1 scoop or about 5 gloves)

  • 1 1/2 cup parmesan or mozzarella

  • sauté pan

  • Pot for pasta

About 5 servings (4 if you eat a lot)

Recommended Equipment & Ingredients

Directions

1.Bring water to a boil. Make sure to put salt and oil in the pasta water. Once it is boiling add the box of linguine

2. In a sauté pan, melt 2 TBSP of butter. Then add garlic, shrimp, oregano, and chili flakes to the pan. Add as much or as little chili flakes as you want. This will give it some spice so add based on how much spice you do or don’t like

3. Once the shrimp is cooked and coated thoroughly in the butter, chili flake, garlic and oregano mixture set aside in a bowl

4. Add the remaining 8 TBSP to the same pan and melt. (Don’t clean out the pan you want all those seasoning on your spinach too) Add the entire bag of spinach and cook until it is wilted

5. Once the spinach is wilted, add 1 cup of the cheese to the pan and turn the heat down low so it starts to melt. Continue mixing so the butter and cheese do not burn.

6. Once the cheese is all melted add the shrimp back into the pan and mix it all together. Take off of the heat if your pasta is not done yet.

7. Strain your pasta, and then you can either put the pasta back into the pot and add the shrimp, spinach mixture to the pasta pot or you can put the strained pasta right into your pan if it’s big enough.

8. Mix it all together and serve!
